Liverpool have been handed a major Mo Salah worry after he picked up an injury during Egypt's Africa Cup of Nations game against Ghana.
Salah started the game as captain but was forced off in first half injury time. The 31-year-old appeared to injure his hamstring and went down unopposed in what is a big worry for Liverpool.
He managed to walk off the pitch and was replaced by Mostafa Fathi. Liverpool will be waiting anxiously for an update over his condition given Salah has been a key part of the club climbing to the top of the Premier League this season, scoring 14 times and providing a further eight assists in 20 league appearances. The two sides meet on March 9 when City travel to Anfield, if Salah will be fit for that game is still to be seen. Salah's involvement in AFCON means he will not be available for Liverpool when they return to Premier League action on Saturday.
