A road in Oldham has been taped off this evening following reports of a boy being hit by a vehicle. Emergency services including an air ambulance and the serious collision unit were scrambled to Vulcan Road in Oldham at around 7pm this evening.
Eyewitnesses report seeing a collision involving a 'young boy', but the exact nature of the incident is unclear. Vulcan Road remains closed while police and ambulance services work at the scene.
