Emergency services have been at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident that closed a main road in Swansea. Traffic monitors are showing that the A4067 Mumbles Road was closed in both directions closed and that traffic is queueing traffic.At 1pm, a statement from Swansea Council said: "The accident has now been cleared but there's significant congestion on Mumbles Road, Walter Road, Uplands and Fabian Way.

Please use other routes if you can."The road that links the city centre with the Mumbles was closed for more than hour from Brynmill Lane to A4216 Sketty Lane.

A statement from South Wales Police said: "We were called to a report of a multi-vehicle collision on Mumbles Road, Swansea at 11am this morning.
