LIVE: Traffic delays on M56 as lanes shut after crash - latest updates

Queues are building on a stretch of the M56 after a crash. Two lanes have been shut off on the westbound carriageway, according to traffic alert service Inrix.

The closures are in place between junction six for the Hale Four Seasons Roundabout and junction seven for Bowdon. Motorway cameras show emergency services on the scene.
