Lionel Messi has been caught in the crossfire at Paris Saint-Germain. Last weekend, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar clashed over a penalty during their 5-2 victory over Montpellier. After previously missing a spot-kick, Mbappe demanded he took another later in the match.
In doing so, he barged past Messi to have words with Neymar who was placing the ball on the spot. Reports have since emerged suggesting all is not well between the Frenchman and Brazilian.
Meanwhile, Messi has been going about his business quietly. And that showed earlier this week in training. The Argentine is looking to improve on his relatively disappointing debut campaign at PSG.
And his performances already this campaign suggest he’s more than ready to do that. He’s certainly training well if one viral clip is anything to go by.
