Celtic winger Liel Abada is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up knock on international duty - putting his spot in the squad to face Rangers in doubt.
Despite not managing to hold down a regular starting spot this season under Ange Postecoglou, the 21-year-old has managed to chip in with 12 goals and seven assists so far this term.
Abada would have been hoping to ramp up his minutes during the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Kosovo and Switzerland after being called up, but he picked up a quad injury on Monday at training with his international side.
Abada had moved to play down fears of a long-term absence on social media due to a tear and remained with the national side, but boss Alon Hazan has revealed that the forward is set to leave the Israel camp and return to the Scottish Premiership leaders amid mounting fitness concerns.
