Lewis Ferguson's 20million transfer to Juventus could be a goer as uncle Barry makes January prediction

Barry Ferguson has hinted that nephew Lewis could on the move to an Italian giant in January. The Bologna captain has been linked with a £20million switch to Juventus after starring for I Rossoblu this term.

Ferguson became the joint highest Scottish scorer in Serie A history this season, and seems destined for bigger things. The Old Lady have been keeping a keen eye on the Scotland international, and a transfer to Turin could boost his chances of breaking into Steve Clarke's Scotland team on a more regular basis ahead of Euro 2024.

Bologna will be keen to hold on to him, but money talks and the lure of a name like Juventus could prove too tempting for Ferguson to turn down.

And former Rangers skipper Barry has hinted that it could happen during the winter window. If not, then Ferguson seems nailed on for a big move come the summer.
