Leeds United defender set for Millwall medical as season-long-loan deal agreed

Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell is reportedly set for a medical at Millwall ahead of a season-long-loan switch, according to the Athletic.

The Lions agreed terms with Leeds last week over a deal for Cresswell and are now expected to complete the formalities of the deal in the coming days.

The 19-year-old was granted an extra week of holiday after featuring in all four of England U21s’ European Qualifying campaign at the beginning of June.

Cresswell featured seven times for Leeds in all competitions last season but with Robin Koch, Liam Cooper, Diego Llorente and Pascal Struijk all currently ahead of him, regular football is the next stage of his development.
