Kyogo named potential Chelsea strike saviour as Celtic hero is touted by former Stamford Bridge hero
Kyogo has been named as a potential solution to Chelsea's striker problem. Stamford Bridge owner Todd Boehly has spent massive sums of cash in every transfer window since his takeover from Roman Abramovich, but Mauricio Pochetinno's side have had a stuttering start to the Premier League season.
One of the glaring issues has been up front and former Blues man Pat Nevin has urged them to check in on Brendan Rodgers' Celtic talisman.
The Japanese international has scored 58 times in 91 Hoops appearances since arriving from Vissel Kobe in 2021 and the pundit tells OLBG that Chelsea should have a look at him.
He said: "Chelsea won't get Callum Wilson or many other proven strikers. I think Kyogo Furuhashi at Celtic would be a good move, too, as he'd finish off a lot of the missed chances.
