He is the man who never forgets his roots and Kyogo brought a Celtic friend with him upon his emotional return to Vissel Kobe training.

The Parkhead idol is lauded in his homeland and once again made sure to pop in and link up with his old team-mates for a training session amid the current J-League season.

Celtic's top scorer was joined by Yuki Kobayashi who returned to the former he club he left back in January for his own adventure in Glasgow.

And the returning duo were able to draw a crowd as punters were keen to catch a glimpse of the alumni. Kyogo spoke last week and admitted his effort en route to Treble glory were taxing, however, he appeared sprightly as both he and Kobayashi performed light training duties back at their old stomping ground.
