Kylian Mbappe has confused Manchester United fans by appearing to name the club in a social media post. Mbappe was named on the bench for Paris Saint-Germain's match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night and, although he was eventually brought on in the second half, he could not help his side avoid a 1-0 defeat.

The defeat meant PSG have now lost three games in a row for the first time since 2011 and Mbappe took to social media to post a cryptic message after the game, writing: "Tout reste à faire… @psg." Manchester United's team is now on @psg." United fans have flocked to the comments of the Instagram post, with many admitting the caption has left them confused.

Marcus Rashford has also added to the bizarre nature of the translation, as he commented on the post with an emoji. PSG have been owned by Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, has been PSG's owner since 2011 through Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) and investment from that gulf state has been linked with Old Trafford this week.
