Manchester City continued their impressive run of form away at Wolves this Saturday. The Citizens have swept aside everything that’s come before them so far this campaign, except one particularly stubborn Newcastle team, and are increasingly looking like a near unstoppable force.
Led by the brilliant Kevin De Bruyne and his new partner in crime Erling Haaland, the duo are tearing up the Premier League on behalf of Pep Guardiola.
The final score line read 3-0 to City on the day, but in truth, the team never really got out of third gear after taking the lead through Jack Grealish 55 seconds into the clash.
Haaland put the game to bed in the 16th minute as he fired in his 11th goal of the campaign to date. Before Phil Foden provided the icing on the cake deep into the second half, converting home from De Bruyne’s cross.
