Kevin De Bruyne explains his reaction to Man City substitution vs Bayern

manchestereveningnews.co.uk

Kevin De Bruyne is feeling ready to play every game for Manchester City as he explained his unhappiness at being taken off against Bayern Munich.

De Bruyne had appeared to suffer an injury shortly before his substitution but was clearly irked as he was replaced by Julian Alvarez, and Pep Guardiola confirmed afterwards that the change was tactical.

The Belgian was fit enough to start against Leicester days later in the Premier League, and will hope to be in the XI for the second leg of their Champions League quarter in Munich.

Guardiola did not make too much of De Bruyne's unhappiness, but made the point that there are lots of players in the squad who could show frustration but had not.
