Former Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata joked he wanted to keep the trophies coming after winning his second league title in six months over the weekend.
Mata lifted the J.League trophy on Saturday after his Vissel Kobe side beat Nagoya Grampus 2-1. The title was confirmed with one game of the season remaining after Yokohama F.
Marinos, their only remaining challengers, drew 0-0 against Niigata on Friday. The 35-year-old has made just one appearance for Kobe since joining in September, replacing former international teammate Andres Iniesta as the big-name star.
He spent the previous season at Galatasaray, where he won the Turkish Super Lig title.
