Cristiano Ronaldo has thanked his former teammates from Manchester United and beyond for their support in helping him to reach another astonishing milestone.
The 38-year-old chalked up his 1,200th career appearance in Al-Nassr’s 4-1 win over Al-Riyadh on Friday, in which he scored his 19th goal of the season.
He leads the Saudi Pro League scorers chart with 16 goals in 15 matches, and is now just 16 off tallying 750 club goals. As many as 145 of his strikes came during his two spells at United, whom he left a second time in November 2022 after a public fallout with Erik ten Hag.
Ronaldo had his contract mutually terminated ahead of the World Cup before signing with Al-Nassr in January.
