A Ramsbottom grandad has taken social media by storm with an energetic karaoke performance. One video of Alec Bracegirdle performing 2010 Tinie Tempah hip hop smash 'Pass Out', at the Britannia Inn, in Farnworth, has been viewed more than 22,000 times on Facebook, since it was posted two weeks ago.
The 69-year-old raps the entire track word perfectly and even throws in some dance moves for good measure, to the delight of punters in the pub.
He told the Manchester Evening News that the song is one of several he performs in pubs around Greater Manchester, along with the likes of 'Can't Hold Us' by Macklemore and 'Gangnam Style' by PSY. "I do the same four or five songs because I know what people like," he said. I used to do 70s and 80s songs but I never got any applause. "My son said it was a bit boring because I was just stood there looking at the words, but I said if I learned Pass Out, he had to come and watch me in the pub.
