Jurgen Klopp believes Manchester United could turn up to Anfield 'a bit fresher' than Liverpool after being able to make some changes midweek.
Both United and Liverpool were in action on Wednesday evening, with Erik ten Hag's side beating West Ham United 3-1 in the FA Cup while Klopp's men came out 2-0 victors over Wolves in the Premier League.
A weakened Reds side fell behind at Old Trafford before an own-goal from Nayef Aguerd levelled the scores, allowing Alejandro Garnacho and Fred to set up a quarter-final tie with Fulham.
Ten Hag handed starts to a number of fringe players on Wednesday, allowing a rest for the likes of Casemiro, Marcus Rashford, Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane - all of whom came on in the second half.
