Michael Beale has challenged Rangers' strikers to get a glut of goals this season in their quest for the Premiership title. The Ibrox gaffer gave new £4.5 million front-man Cyriel Dessers his debut yesterday in a 2-1 friendly win over Hamburg.
He joined summer signings Sam Lammers and Abdellah Sima up top, while Kemar Roofe and Tom Lawrence returned from injury against the Germans.
And he's still in the hunt for Brazilian hit-man Danilo from Feyenoord. Dessers has been signed as the club’s new number nine and Beale believes he’ll get double-digit goals for Gers.
But the manager is adamant he won’t be the only one as they attempt to topple Celtic and become champions. Beale said: “I think Dessers will be one of three or four players who can get us double figures in goals this season.
