Jon Moxley new contract: Major update on WWE reunion of The Shield

givemesport.com

Jon Moxley has signed a new contract with AEW, essentially confirming he won’t be returning to WWE anytime soon. Since Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose) left WWE in 2019, fans have been speculating about when we’re going to see The Shield in the same ring again.

Fans thought the chances may have risen with Triple H now running WWE Creative, but that speculation doesn’t appear to have been accurate.

Fans haven’t seen The Shield all in the same ring since April 2019, and it’s going to be another five years minimum until we see them together again.

AEW announced yesterday that Jon Moxley has signed a new contract with the promotion, which is set to expire in 2027. The new deal will see him working not just as an on-screen talent, where he serves as the AEW World Champion, but also as a mentor and coach behind the scenes.
