Partick Thistle are keen on a loan move for St Mirren captain Joe Shaughnessy. The Irishman hasn't featured for the last three Scottish Premiership games for the Buddies and the skipper and was linked with an exit before the transfer window.
However, despite interest in the 30-year-old from clubs on both sides of the border a move didn't materialise before the transfer window closed.
But moves can still be made in leagues below the top flight. And Jags boss Ian McCall has enquired about a possible loan move for Shaughnessy as he looks to strengthen his squad for their promotion push.
Partick Thistle currently sit second in the Championship table after a solid start to the season. St Mirren assistant boss Diarmuid O’Carroll played down an exit for Shaughnessy after the transfer window closed.
