dailyrecord.co.uk

Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart complained of a missile being thrown at him during the second half of his side’s Scottish Cup quarter final clash against Hearts at Tynecastle.

The Englishman alerted referee Kevin Clancy after picking up an object which had been thrown from behind his goal at the Gorgie Stand of the ground.

It came just after the hour mark, with the Hoops leading 2-0. It comes just a week after new Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin said he was hit by a coin thrown by fans of former club Aberdeen.

And two boys, aged 13 and 14, have been charged after objects were thrown onto the pitch at the Hibs v Rangers match on Wednesday.
