Jim Goodwin is looking to bring in winners who have seen and done it in the Championship and can get Dundee United back to the top flight.

The Irishman has now put his summer transfer list in place and is looking to bring in characters who can dig it out and produce on a wet and windy night at Gayfield or Inverness.

Goodwin accepted United weren’t short of flair last season but, at times, they lacked players who could do the other side and that is something he wants to address.

He said: “It’s impossible to get away from the fact that Dundee United in the Premiership is a far more attractive proposition.
