Jim Goodwin facing SFA rap sweat after riling up refs and Hibs

Jim Goodwin is facing a SFA rap sweat after slaughtering Ryan Porteous in the wake of Saturday’s controversial penalty flashpoint. Record Sport understands fuming Hibs bosses have already been in touch with their Pittodrie counterparts to complain about the comments – with the Dons gaffer accusing the defender of cheating.

Goodwin also accused ref David Dickinson of being conned by Porteous in the game-changing moment in Leith when Sam Scales was shown a second yellow after a wrestling match with the Scotland man.

Hibs scored from the spot and went on to win 3-1 but Goodwin’s post-match outburst will now be looked at by the SFA disciplinary beaks and the Pittordrie gaffer could face a touchline ban.

The Irishman was livid with Porteous and the officials for the big call at Easter Road. He said: “I don’t know how many times the boy Porteous can get away with that kind of stuff.
