Jessie Diggins cruises to historic Cross-Country 10km freestyle gold at World Championship

Jessie Diggins cruised to gold in the women's 10km freestyle to earn USA's first-ever individual cross-country skiing World Championship gold.

Diggins finished in a time of 23:40.8, 14 seconds ahead of Sweden's Frida Karlsson, to take USA's first gold of the 2023 Nordic World Ski Championships in Planica.

Ad Karlsson earned her second consecutive silver medal in the event ahead of compatriot Ebba Andersson, who also took bronze for the second time in succession.
