James McAtee has reflected on his Sheffield United home debut and the difference between the club and Manchester City. The 19-year-old featured for the Blades in the League Cup last week but he made his full debut for the Championship club on Wednesday against Sunderland.
McAtee would go on to make a solid impression for his new side, drawing the foul which saw Dan Neil sent off for the visitors at Bramall Lane.
City's youngster looked assured in his new surroundings under the guidance of Paul Heckingbottom. Speaking after his loan side's 2-1 victory over the Black Cats, McAtee explained the difference between play at United and City. I got to see all the fans, it was great. "They looked after me and made me feel at home. Of course there were nerves, but it's always good to have nerves it means you are up for it, you want to play well. "There were some nerves going into it.
