Emmerdale fans couldn't hold it together as Liv Dingle - nee Flaherty - became the second victim of the horror windstorm that left the quaint Yorkshire village in a mass of destruction.

The ITV soap character, played by Isobel Steele, became trapped underneath a rouge caravan as she and her husband Vinny attempted to make their way to The Woolpack.

The couple had tried to make their journey from their home to the pub after a panicked Paddy Kirk arrived and told stepson Aaron that his mum, Chas, was in hospital after being injured in the storm.

As the pair planned to rush to be with her, vet Paddy asked Liv and Vinny if they'd mind going over to the pub to watch his and Chas' daughter, Eve.
