Coronation Street star Elle Mulvaney has told fans 'don't mess' after the latest scenes in her storyline aired. Earlier this week, fans of the ITV soap saw Amy Barlow lash out at smug Aaron Sandford at a birthday party thrown for their friend Nina Lucas.

After wrestling with her buried feelings, Amy, who went to the police after realising she had been raped by her male friend, snapped after seeing him flirting with a group of girls.

He then put his hand on her which triggered distressing memories. "I know what you are and you know what you are," she told him before she started to hit him.

Her friends Summer Spellman and Aadi Alahan went after her and Summer told her: "I've never seen you like that before." And Amy told her: "I've never been raped before.
