Comedian and actor Duggie Brown has died at the age of 82, his agent has confirmed. The much-loved star was also best known for appearing on The Comedians.
He was also the brother of actress and singer Lynne Perrie - who played Ivy Tilsley on Coronation Street for 23 years from 1971 to 1994.
Lynne sadly died in 2006 at the age of 74 after suffering from a stroke. Duggie most recently appeared on-screen in Corrie. He made a short appearance in the ITV soap as Ted Spear.
The character was knocked over on New Year's Day in a huge storyline for Faye Windass and Emma Brooker as learner driver Faye drove them back from a New Year's Eve party.
