IPL Auction Draws Increase Of 57 Per Cent In Viewers As Compared To 2022 Edition

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah on Wednesday said that the recently-held Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction recorded an increase of 57 per cent from the previous auction's viewers.

Shah took to X (Formerly Twitter) to announce that the IPL auction drew a total of 22.8 million viewers, higher than those for auctions held in the 2022 auction.

The IPL auction 2024 was held in Dubai on December 19. "Soaring to new heights this season at the @IPL auction with a record-breaking peak of 22.8 million viewers - a remarkable 57% increase from last year!
