House hunters are being given the unique chance to live in a windmill after one of Britain's 'biggest' has just come on the market.

The Maud Foster Windmill, which is more than 200 years old, is now up for sale for £650,000. The three-bedroom home stands at more than 80 foot tall and with seven floors it boasts one of the largest operational windmills in the country.

The one-off property dominates the skyline over the Lincolnshire market town of Boston, and is now on the market for less than the average price of a home in London, according to Zoopla and Rightmove. The historic building has three spacious bedrooms and two large bathrooms, making it an ideal family home with a view over the river banks of the Maud Foster.

Two of the windmill's seven storeys are currently home to a shop and a flour business, with a former café located on the first floor.
