Brendan Rodgers insists Celtic must solve their penalty taking problem before it costs them any more points. The Hoops boss is annoyed that his side have missed three spot kicks already this season - with Reo Hatate, David Turnbull and Luis Palma the culprits.
On Saturday at Parkhead, Palma was denied by Motherwell keeper Liam Kelly - before Turnbull scored a penalty to give them a lead.
But the Scottish Premiership champions were pegged back by Stuart Kettlewell’s side who equalised late on through Jon Obika.
Rodgers admits it’s an issue that needs to be resolved quickly. He said: “I was looking before I came here that there have been a number of penalties missed (Celtic also missed three last season).
