Scottish champions Celtic appear set to welcome in their newest Parkhead arrival, amid reports that Rubin Kazan winger Sead Haksabanovic is set to join the club.
According to Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou, via Sky Sports, the 23-year-old is closing in on a move to Glasgow, with the Old Firm outfit set to make him their eighth major addition of the summer thus far.
Asked whether the deal was close to completion following Sunday’s triumph over Hearts, the 56-year-old replied: “Yeah I think that’s a fair assessment, it’s getting close.” Sky suggests the respective parties are currently still in talks over a move.
The Montenegro international only joined his current side last summer, although spent the tail end of last term on loan at Swedish outfit Djurgardern, having seen his contract suspended at his parent club as a result of Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
