With Christmas just around the corner and cold weather now in full swing, fashion fans are on the lookout for winter outfits for Christmas parties, Christmas markets, the office and nights out.

But before paying full price for products on high street brands, Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert has suggested browsing a fashion website where full-price Chritsmas party outfits and winter coats from brands like River Island, Ted Baker, New Look and ASOS cost as little as £7.

Some of the most popular outfits on the Secret Sales website come from River Island. A brand new Christmas party dress bought directly from River Island could set fashion fans back as much as £85, if not more.

However, the discount website, which has been featured on Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert, has surplus stock of thousands of River Island outfits, some of which have been reduced by as much as 90 per cent.

An eighth defeat of the season in all competitions was the latest blow for English soccer’s most storied club, which looks in danger of suffering another season of disappointment. United lost 3-0 at home to Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday and Saudi-backed Newcastle repeated that scoreline to raise further questions over Ten Hag’s ability to return the club to its former glories. First-half goals from substitute Miguel Almiron and Lewis Hall put the visitors in control by the break and Joe Willock completed the scoring after an hour. But that is a distant memory now as his team’s season descended deeper into crisis. The Dutch coach, who won three league titles with Ajax, was mocked by Newcastle’s fans throughout the game as they chanted that he would be fired in the morning.
