Brodie Spencer may only be in the door at Fir Park but he insists Saturday's comeback win over Kilmarnock has told him loads about the character in the Motherwell dressing room.
The right-back joined on season-long loan from English Championship side Huddersfield Town last week and thrown straight in for his debut in the dramatic 2-1 win over Killie, where he set up Dan Casey for the equaliser before Harry Paton netted a 97th minute winner.
And he was thoroughly impressed by the resolve his new team-mates showed to haul themselves back from 1-0 down and the blow of Callum Slattery's penalty being saved late on at 1-1.
The 19-year-old Northern Ireland international said: "I am only here a few days but I have already learned a lot about the lads, just from that result. "It shows the character of the team. "Most teams would let their heads go down after missing the penalty, but the lads stuck in and got their reward. "I felt the character at half-time. "Nobody was down, nobody was feeling sorry for themselves.
