The 2023 BBC Sports Personality of the Year is back for its 70th annual celebration. The iconic annual awards ceremony will celebrate a year of sporting talent, fronted by Gary Lineker, Clare Balding, Gabby Logan and Alex Scott.

It comes as we remember Manchester City's Treble. The club won the Premier League and FA Cup, rounding off the treble with their Champions League title win in Istanbul.

The show will broadcast live from BBC Sport's home, MediaCityUK in Salford, on Tuesday, 19 December, from 7pm. A shortlist of six contenders for Sports Personality of the Year have been announced.
