Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the first stage of the Diamond League 2024 in high jump in Lausanne, Suspilne. Sports reported on Thursday.

In Lausanne, Mahuchikh competed for the podium together with Australians Nikola Olislagers and Eleanor Patterson, who won silver and bronze at the Paris Games.

The bronze medalist of the 2024 Olympic Games, Ukrainian Iryna Herashchenko, also took part in the competition. It is noted that four athletes overcame the mark of 1 m 92 cm, Iryna Herashchenko could not use a single attempt.

Mahuchikh overcame a height of 1 m 96 cm with Patterson, and became the winner of the stage, the only one taking a height of 1 m 99 cm.
