Herne Bay United’s artistic section enjoyed success at the GB Skate Artistic Spring Dance Festival in Great Yarmouth. They entered six skaters - Lucia Fairbrass, Grace Hackman, Cordelia Cloke, Millie Clewes, Madison Whiting and Lucy Freeman - in the non-medallist category, with Clewes achieving a third-placed finish while there were three further top-10 placings.

The next categories were the elementary and preliminary rounds. Herne Bay United had eight skaters in these events in Amelia Cook, Lewis Hackman, Suzanne Greenstreet, Rebecca Pang, Holly Minter, Priscila Fairbrass, Meredith Cloke and Leila Simpson, who claimed two top-10 finishes.

Five of these skaters had only recently moved into the category. Another 11 skaters - Caydn Harwin, Harry Mays, Willow Frith, Prarinna Harris, Filipe Sousa, Rio Baker, Elysse Baker, Chloe Minter, Ruby O’Brien, Maddie Erridge and Skye Mays - competed in the inter-bronze and bronze category.

Sousa, O’Brien and Erridge earned first in their groups, and Mays came second. Again, eight of the 11 were skating at the level for the first time.
