A main road in Carmarthenshire was shut after a “multiple-vehicle” crash on Wednesday morning. The collision happened shortly before 7.40am between Cross Hands Roundabout and Pont Abraham Roundabout.Both sides were closed as police and other emergency services attended the scene, and traffic was affected heading towards the M4 and Swansea.The collision involved four vehicles, and the road re-opened shortly before 8.30am.
No serious injuries have been reported. A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Police were called to a collision involving a number of vehicles on the A48 at 7.37am on Wednesday, April 12.
Several cars were in a ditch off the eastbound side of the dual carriageway around half a mile from the Cross Hands roundabout, with another car having collided with the central reservation.
