Hearts gave announced a record turnover of £20.8million in their latest set of accounts. Ahead of their AGM next month, the Jambos have posted their financial results which they say have the club in "excellent" financial health.
That figure is up 42 per cent on the previous year with an increase of £6.1m. A focus on increased commercial operations meant that particular revenue stream was boosted by £2.1m.
That's in addition to the continued monthly support of the fans via the Foundation of Hearts. Punters pour in thousands every month via pledges.
James Anderson's generosity is also key, with those making up the bulk of the £4.5m received. That cash has allowed the Tynecastle club to increase it's spending on new players, which Steven Naismith took advantage of in the summer after replacing Robbie Neilson.
