Haaland, Phillips, Grealish - Man City winners and losers from October international break

manchestereveningnews.co.uk

Pep Guardiola will be delighted that none of his Manchester City players have picked up injuries during the October international break - the main thing he asks of his players when they leave for national team duty.

Last month, Mateo Kovacic came back with a back issue, but this month it seems that nobody will add to a City injury list that is finally empty aside from long-term absentee Kevin De Bruyne (and even De Bruyne is recovering well).

A number of City's international stars featured for their countries this week, with some securing their places at next summer's Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.

Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva and loanee Joao Cancelo will be in Germany with Portugal, while City's five England stars will join them after beating Italy on Wednesday.
