Green Brigade issued Celtic 'responsibility' reminder by Brendan Rodgers as boss breaks silence on Parkhead exile ending

dailyrecord.co.uk

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has told the Green Brigade it is their "responsibility" to back the side ahead of their return to the stands.

But the Parkhead boss concedes it is a burden that must be shared by the entire support in Glasgow's east end as Rodgers stated the atmosphere hasn't been the same without the ultras.

The fan group will return to the Hoops standing section for the clash with Livingston after being shut out for two months after the Celtic Park decision-makers took action over offences outlined by the club, including a series of stadia incidents that racked up sanctions and fines for the Scottish Premiership leaders.

But following crunch talks with the club a code of conduct has been signed to prevent more problems - meaning the fan group will be back in the North Curve section of the stadium when Rangers travel across the city for derby day on December 30.
