Greater Manchester is in for a week of warm and wet days as the city-region heads towards the Coronation bank holiday weekend.
After last week’s downpours, which saw Market Street temporarily flood on Saturday, it looks like we’ll have patches of wet weather but also higher temperatures.
The Met Office is forecasting Saturday (May 6) to be the nicest day, when the mercury will hit 17C. The low that day will be 11C with the same minimum and maximum temperatures seen on Sunday, albeit with a rain-soaked afternoon. Monday (May 8) will see plenty of rain, according to the forecast released today (May 2). Before the big weekend, our area is in for warm days.
