Great British Bake Off fans are in 'shock' after the judges sent another contestant home in the 'hardest' elimination so far.

This week the bakers tackled Botanical Week, taking on flavour, with spices. Contestants worked hard to impress judges with their bun making skills, all hoping to win the title of Star Baker and survive another week in the tent.

This week's episode (October 31) saw the pressure mount for Cristy Sharp, who was crowned Star Baker last week. Things started to take a turn for the worst when the contestant's show stopper started to go wrong.

After taking a moment outside of the tent, she came back to complete her creation.
