Glen of Derry have gone one better this year and captured the All Ireland Senior Club Football title. Last year's beaten finalists came from behind to beat St Brigid's of Roscommon in the decider at Croke Park.

Derry's Conor Glass scored the all-important goal in a 2-10 to 1-12 victory. Earlier in the day, Eanna Burke's sideline score handed the All Ireland Senior Club Hurling title to St Thomas' of Galway.

They finished the game with 14 men but just outlasted O'Loughlin Gaels to come out on top by 18 points to 17. James Regan received a red card early in the second half.
