Gemma Atkinson appeared emotional as she was able to 'change a pensioner's life' with just one phone call as she popped back to work during her maternity leave.
The Hits Radio host has been off the airwaves since the summer as she welcomed her second child into the world. Gemma gave birth to her and her Strictly Come Dancing star fiance Gorka Marquez's son, Thiago, in July, almost four years after their first-born Mia, now four, made her entrance into the world.
And while she does plan to return back to the Hits Radio drivetime show, which she hosts with Mike Toolan, in the New Year as her seat is kept warm by former Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent, Gemma did make a special early return on Friday (November 3). After heading into work and delivering the great news, Gemma headed home but wanted to address the caller who won the £250,000.
