Gary Neville has theorised that the potential of a dressing room divide at Manchester United could be sparked by the failure of the attack.

The Premier League giants - who announced the sacking of Erik ten Hag on Monday (October 28) - suffered a fourth league defeat of the season on Sunday when they fell 2-1 to West Ham United at London Stadium.

United were unlucky not to go ahead in the first half with Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes, and Diogo Dalot all squandering chances, with the latter going viral after missing an open goal.

Missed chances have been a theme for United, who've scored just eight league goals this season with only Crystal Palace and Southampton scoring less.
