Gary Neville gives 'unpalatable' verdict on Cristiano Ronaldo's Manchester United behaviour

Gary Neville has been left unimpressed by Cristiano Ronaldo's actions this summer, describing them as "unpalatable for me to watch".

Ronaldo threatened to disrupt Erik ten Hag's first pre-season in charge of the club when he made his desire to leave United public just before the players were set to return for training after the summer break.

The No.7 didn't travel on the club's pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia due to family reasons amid the uncertainty surrounding his future.

While United were away and enjoyed a productive tour without their talisman, Ronaldo remained in Portugal and training individually but no clubs came forward to offer him his escape route.
