Gary Lineker admits he is concerned for Tottenham amid Ange Postecoglou's rebuild at the Premier League club. The North London side's summer has been dominated by talisman Harry Kane's transfer saga that could see him go to Bayern Munich.

And they have so far signed James Maddision, Manor Salomon and Guglielmo Vicario as new players with Dejan Kulusevski signing permanently.

Even with Kane's situation ongoing, former star Lineker just can't hide his fear. After last season went off the rails under Antonio Conte, the Match of the Day host can't remember a time in recent memory when his ex-side have been in a worst position, as Postecoglou looks for similar success to what he had at Celtic.

He told PA: “I am concerned for Spurs either way, whatever happens with Harry. I have been concerned about them for a while, I see where they ended last season and they are in the worst position they had been in for quite some time. "They have made an exceptional signing in James Maddison.
