Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool failed to clinch all three points against Fulham in their 2022/23 Premier League opener on Saturday afternoon.
Klopp’s side went into the game against the newly-promoted side as the heavy favourites. But they were second best in the first-half and were 1-0 down at the break courtesy of Aleksandar Mitrović’s opener.
The Reds improved after the break, largely thanks to Darwin Nunez’s introduction. The Uruguayan levelled proceedings as he marked his Premier League debut with a goal.
Mitrovic made it 2-1 as he won and then converted a penalty, but Mohamed Salah’s late equaliser ensured the two sides shared the spoils.
