Former Arsenal striker Eduardo has criticised Emmanuel Adebayor for what he deemed a 'disrespectful' celebration after scoring for Manchester City.

Adebayor infamously infuriated the Arsenal fanbase shortly after leaving the Emirates for the Etihad back in the summer of 2009.

The Togo international hit the ground running after joining City, scoring in all of his first four games, and it was that fourth that came against his former side.

After scoring, the striker ran the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the Arsenal end in a move that angered both supporters and players alike - particularly former Gunners teammate Eduardo. RATINGS: Akanji impact could make unthinkable Man City exit manageable "Adebayor always seemed to be happy and positive," Eduardo told Betway. "He always joked around and relaxed the dressing room.
